| We finished a job whare we insulated a cathedral ceiling and a knee wall assembly. We also air-seal areas in the home that would be not accessable. On top of all that we mitigated a rat infestation by locating and sealing the areas of access. What an oppurtunity for the homeowners! This is a once in a liftime chance to get it right. We also sealed all the knee walls that were failing for years. The homeowners are reaping the benifits of overnight comfort in a home they had never been comfortable inside since they moved in. | ||

| We installed one small heating system for this 2800 square foot home that works for the upper and lower floors, as well as insulating (foam on the floor and in the cathedral ceiling, and cellulose in the attic and walls). We have equal heat throughout the home and not more than 2 degrees difference in temperature between upper and lower floors. This is done with correct duct sizing, jump ducts for all the bedrooms to prevent the rooms from over-pressurizing, sealed duct work, sealed envelope, and properly installed insulation. The additional cost for this upgrade was under 2% of the entire build budget. | ||
